I Would recommend this book because it really is a good book and it tells a story about how to keep a family together even at really hard times. Also it tells you that you should talk to your family about everything. I recommend this book to people who likes book with a real meaning. I really liked this book, it was one of those book that you couldn't put down and it really made me think about what if that was happening to my family.

If I could rewrite something about my book it would be Anna having leukemia and Kate not wanting to have surgeries anymore and see how they would feel in their shoes.

Summary: Anna has discovered that she still wants to save her sister and help her with her leukemia. Now that she decided that she helped her sister by giving her bone marrow to help her survive. After they both had the surgery Kate's hair started to fall out and she didn't want to go anywhere looking like she did so, Anna and her mom decided to shave their hair and be like Kate after they did that they went to the mall and walked through the mall holding hands.

Does Anna end up not going through with the law suit about not having to save her sister?
Do they end up as a happy family?
Does Kate ever find out about what Annas doing ?

Summary: So far I read about this book is that Anna sister's, kate has Leukemia and Anna was born to save her. Anna is finally standing for herself by going to a lawyer and telling them that she doesn't want to go through anymore surgeries to save her sister. Kate doesn't know anything about what Anna's up too but, her parents do and it's tearing her family apart, enought that Anna is living with her dad at the fire station. During this Anna has a women named Julia that helps her with her problems; about going through with it or not.

My sister's keeper has many different settings but the family spends most of their time at home and at the hospital. Anna also spends time at the lawyer office. The time period of this book is present day. Anna's family and her live in normal part of town, it is a nice neighborhood but, Anna's family didn't have a lot of money because of all of the surgeries they had to go through for Kate and also Anna.

Anna: Anna is a very intelligent girl. She found out that she was born to save her sister Kate because, since childhood her sister Kate has had leukemia. Anna later on went to get a lawyer to stop them from making her have many countless surgeries to save her sister. She is very upset of how she has to live her life, now she is standing up for her self.

Kate: Kate is a very strong hearted girl while having to live her life with leukemia. Kate has no idea yet that her sister Anna wants to stop helping her with her disease. Her mom and dad just found out about Anna getting a lawyer by herself from stopping them to making her help her sister. Kate always is going to the hospital for her disease because they think she is doing really well but then suddenly she becomes sick and immediatly they have to take her to the hospital.

Beginning of My Sister's Keeper

I started reading the book My sister's Keeper. The author is jodi Picoult. I picked this book because I love books that have a good story and seems real. This book is about a girl named Kate that is diagnosed with leukemia and her sister Anna is born so that she can help her sister survive. Anna doesn't really show that she is upset that she was born to help her sister, but finally she goes to a lawyer and tells them what her problem is. A few days later her parents found out what she did and now Anna and her parents are in an arguement while they just found out about Kate.
